For those who still have not seen any glimpse of DotA2 or not even heard of it yet. Here is the official trailer of DotA2. Have fun watching it.
In order to play dotA2 you have to complete a survey from steam or you can take part in the competitions at Play DotA forums. Most have the people have won keys from Play DotA forums and are having fun playing DotA2. If you have sufficient funds you can also buy the beta keys or invites from people who ALREADY HAVE IT. Beta keys are not for sale yet, they are only given away through competitions e.t.c by valve cooperation.
Note: ( Avoid buying from people unless they are really trusted as this is the internet and a lot of people get scammed and loose a lot of money. Furthermore you should also know that the competitions will give you invites for free, they won't be expecting something in return.)
